Depression: Through the Pain

You CAN make it through the pain.

Lace Up Your Boots

on May 21, 2013

Good morning!

I’m glad you’re back. That must mean that you’re ready to beat your depression. Lace up your boots, because we’re heading into battle.

Use every single tool you have: doctors, medication if called for, your gratitude journal and fight song, and your symbol of commitment. More tools are coming. The most important thing you’ve done so far is making that commitment to prevail.

I’ve posted another song you can use in battle: “Stand”
by Rascal Flatts. We’ll keep adding more periodically. You may want to download these songs from iTunes onto your computer so that you can listen to them as a group.

I’ve got a project for you. This week I want you to be gathering magazines that you don’t mind destroying and a piece of cardboard or poster board. It’s best if the board is a standard frame size, fairly large. Maybe 11” x 14”. On Friday I’ll explain in detail what to do. Just gather right now. And get some glue, too.

That’s it for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow. LET’S BEAT THIS THING! YOU CAN DO IT!

Blessings, Elizabeth
